[Dorama Review] Team Medical Dragon ~ Iryu Season 4

Ok, continuing my last post, I’m going to write a review about Iryu Season 4.

For those who doesn't read my review yet about Iryu 1, 2, and 3 before, you can find it here:
Team Medical Dragon - Iryu 1
Team Medical Dragon - Iryu 2

Again, in this season, Team Medical Dragon is back once again. Sakurai Shuzo (played by Hira Mikijiro), Asada’s former teacher called out Asada. His hospital is lacking of human resources as the doctors would choose a bigger hospital in this globalization era.

Asada tried to form Team Medical Dragon once again in Sakurai General Hospital. Not as the other seasons, in this season the team was restored so fast in the first episode.

A new, yet an advanced-in-technology hospital is built, and again, Noguchi Takeo (played by Kishibe Ittoku) is the director of this newly built hospital; L&P Hospital. As always, he wanted the Team Medical Dragon to be on his side. What a mainstream story lol.

Okamura Tadashi (played by Takahashi Katsunori), a consultant management in the medical world, is entrusted to take control of L&P hospital with future aim to provide medical treatment in India, a country with a big population and  believed to provide a lot of money. With many strategies, he lured the Team Medical Dragon to join L&P Hospital.

I could say this season 4 is the best season to compete the first season. Even though the season 4 and season 1 is focusing on a little bit different kind of matter, both season is really great and worth to be watched.
Season 1 focusing on medical treatment with super complicated surgeries, season 4 is still the same with some addition on how to manage the hospital instead of only doing that super complicated surgeries. The blend between medical world and economic world is best described for this season.
The missing of Satohara Miki in the season 3 still continue up till now. However, in the very last part, there is a little bit trailer of the appearance of Miki for the next season, season 5. Hopefully season 5 won’t be disappointing!

I gave 9 out of 10 points for this dorama.

[Dorama Review] Team Medical Dragon ~ Iryu Season 3

Since I love Iryu dorama series and I stopped writing on the season 2 last time, today I’m going to continue writing the review for Iryu season 3 and season 4 which was aired on 2010 and 2014 on my next post.
For those who doesn't read my review yet about Iryu 1 and 2 before, you can find it here:
Team Medical Dragon - Iryu 1
Team Medical Dragon - Iryu 2

The story started with the decline of Meishin University Hospital due to poor quality surgeons. Professor Kito Shoko (played by Natsuki Mari) will rebuilt the hospital.

Asada Ryutaro (played by Sakaguchi Kenji), Katou Akira (played by Inamori Izumi), and Fujiyoshi Keisuke (played by Sasaki Kuranosuke) are invited to help rebuilding the hospital. With addition of Ijyuin Noboru (played by Koike Teppei) and Arase Monji (played by Abe Sadao), Team Medical Dragon is once again revived.

What’s new in the season 3 is the appearance of a new rival for Asada. Kuroki Keichiro (played by Endo Kenichi) who treats patients using a new method, catheter.

The Season 3 is just a part of the manga I guess. I recalled that some of the story came up in the manga before.
As I watch Iryu from the very first season, I guess there is no medical dorama which can beat Iryu season 1, nor another season of Iryu. Yeah, I still think season 1 is the best, regardless this season 3 is also quite well made. What so good about season 3 is the reappearance of Katou Akira who disappeared in the season 2. However, in replacement of Akira, Miki, the Team Dragon’s nurse disappeared this season. An unknown nurse replace her instead. I don’t really like the disappearance of the members, even though I admit this formation is better than the season 2.

Well, if I’m about to recommend a medical genre dorama, I absolutely say Iryu season 1 is the best recommendation, but still it’s not worthless to watch the other seasons. I gave 7 out of 10 points for this dorama.

[Japanese Movie Review] Kiseijuu part 2 / Parasyte part 2 - End

Continuing the part 1, I'm going to write a review about Kiseijuu / Parasyte part 2. It was aired in 2015.

For those who doesn't read my review yet about Kiseijuu / Parasyte part 1 before, you can find it here:
Kiseijuu / Parasyte Part 1

Going to take a revenge of his belated mother who was killed by the parasytes, Izumi Shinichi (played by Sometani Shota) try to exterminate the parasytes.

While Tamiya Ryoko (played by Fukatsu Eri), a parasyte leader who is interested in researching human rather than eating them, tried to convince the other parasytes not to harm the human.

However, the parasytes starts the rebellion and didn't listen to Tamiya's order anymore. They harmed people and the Japan Police Unit start to hunt the parasytes.

I saw a big difference about Izumi Shinichi in the part 1 and the part 2. Izumi Shinichi in the part 2 is more brave, heartless, and smarter, which is led by his mother's dead. I like the part 1 more because it contains more story when the part 2 consists more battle and fighting scene compared to the part 1.
The ending of the story is just as I expected it to be, however, the very last part when a psycho appears, I think it make the movie worse rather than completing the movie. Yeah, I think that part doesn't need to be aired, acutally.

For those who have watched the part 1, of course the part 2 is a-must-watch movie. Not as the part 1, I only give 6.5 out of 10 points for this part 2 movie.

[Dorama Review] Siren

Today I’m going to write a review about a mystery Japanese dorama. The title of the dorama is Siren, a beautiful yet dangerous creature in Greek mythology. It was aired in 2015.

Murder cases keep happening in Tokyo. The murderer is suspected to be a psycho since the murder is being gruesomely done.

Satomi Shinobu (played by Matsuzaka Tori) and Inokuma Yuki (played by Kimura Fumino) are a detective couple from Mobile Investigation Unit of The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department who dated secretly due to their job. Satomi and Inokuma are working together to find the truth behind these murder cases.

Strangely, a beautiful woman named Tachibana Kara (played by Nanao) often appears in the murder scene. Satomi suspected that Tachibana is behind all of these murder cases, while Inokuma considered Tachibana as a helper to the detectives. What’s the relationship between Tachibana and the murder case?

While trying to find the truth, Hayami Sho (played by Kitayama Hiromitsu of Kis-My-Ft2), Satomi and Inokuma’s rival, is also trying to find the truth to win the rivalry.

Even though you can guess some of the storyline, some of the story came out unexpectedly. This kind of unexpected story is the one which makes me interested in this dorama the most. The story of finding the murderer is also thrilling, it could make me so impatient and sometimes so scared. The way how the dorama is shot is as good as the other top Japanese doramas, as always. Not to mention, the Japanese actors and actresses are also as good as it is always be.

For those who likes thriller genre of dorama, I recommended this dorama. I gave 8 out of 10 points for this dorama.

[Japanese Movie Review] Lupin the Third / Rupan Sansei

This time I'm gonna write about a Japanese movie released in 2014, Lupin the Third or it's called Rupan Sansei in Japanese.

Lupin (played by Oguri Shun - middle),  Mine Fujiko (played by Kuroki Meisa - right), Jigen (played by Tamayama Tetsuji - left) are some of the members of  'The Works', a group of thieves who steal valuable objects from wealthy owners.

The leader of 'The Works' is killed when Michael Lee (played by Jerry Yan), fellow member of  'The Works' betray the group due to some reason. Michael took the Crimson Heart of Cleopatra, a very valuable necklace with a ruby stone in it, which is missing. Lupin was angry and tried to avenge Michael.

Lupin made his own allies with Fujiko, a sly; Jigen, a great gunner; Pierre (played by Kim Joon), an IT specialist, and also ask his other friends like Goemon (played by Ayano Gou), a great swordsman. Together, they fought their enemies.

Pierre

Goemon

In my opinion, this movie has an interesting plot and story, however, the movie is limited to around 2 hours which makes the movie is moving too fast and not detailed that make it less interesting.

When I saw the title of the movie, it seems so interesting. Don't mention the actors and the actresses here, such as Oguri Shun, Kuroki Meisa, and even they included foreign actors such as Jerry Yan, Kim Joon which the names are so familiar within the industry. Many other foreigners (which is I don't really know actually) are included in this movie, mostly are from Thailand. Seeing that, I bet no one would not interested in the movie, right? However, I could say I'm quite disappointed with the movie. The movie is not as good as what I expected to be; by seeing the title and the casts. They acted very well and there are some action scenes which is not bad; but to me, this film is only about action scenes which is not that good if you compared it to the Hollywood movies. Well, still, it is not that bad.

I could recommend this movie to those who wants to see many great actors and actresses in a movie, however, don't expect too much I guess. I give this movie 6 out of 10 points.

[Japanese Movie Review] Aku no Kyouten / Lesson of the Evil

Another Japanese movie review from me. Aku no Kyouten, or in English it literally means the Lesson of the Evil. This movie is a thriller genre movie located in the school, aired in 2012.

Hasumi Seiji (played by Ito Hideaki) is a teacher in one of a Japanese high school. He is a Harvard graduate and is a genius. The students love Hasumi very much.

One day, one of his student's house is burned. Also, one by one of his students start to be missing. Tsurii Masanobu (played by Fukikoshi Mitsuru), a loner Physics teacher, realized something wrong with Hasumi.

Hayami Keisuke (played by Sometani Shota) is a genius, sly student in the school. He realized that Tsurii Sensei know something. Then, Tsurii Sensei started to explain everything he knew.

They suspected that Hasumi is a psychopath killer and when they tried to find out the reality, something happened to them...

A thriller movie is one of my favourite genre of movie. This movie is sooo thrilling, and the concept of the movie is quite unique to me. The story is quite predictable I guess, but it's still thrilling. Also, there are some scenes in this movie which is quite disturbing for me, so better be prepared for that.

For those who like a thriller movie, this movie is so recommended. I give this movie 8 out of 10 points.

[Japanese Movie Review] Rain Tree no Kuni / The Land of Rain Tree

Today I'm gonna give a review about a Japanese movie, called Rain Tree no Kuni / The Land of Rain Tree which was aired on 2015.

Sakisaka Nobuyuki (played by Tamamori Yuta of Kis-My-Ft2) is going to move out of his house.

He packed his things and realized that his favourite book, Fairy Game, was missing. He read the book when he was in high school, and it gave a special impression, even though he forgot the ending of the story.

He searched through the internet, and found a website named "Rain Tree no Kuni" where the admin wrote her opinion about the Fairy Game book. It reminds Nobuyuki about the ending of the book and fortunately, Nobu got the same opinion as the writer.

Moved with the writing in the website, Nobu sent a message to the admin. They sent each other message, and later, they decided to meet. It turns out the one behind "Rain Tree no Kuni" is a girl with a long hair named Hitomi Rika (played by Nishiuchi Mariya).

They interested in each other but Hitomi thought that they lived in a different world. They got into many arguments.

It's been a while since the last time I watched a dorama/movie with romance genre. It's so refreshing.

This movie is a simple movie, I think. However, many important good lessons you could get from this movie.
I personally noted to myself that I should have confidence in myself, and not to put away myself alone because I'm different from the others. Every people is unique in their own way anyway.

When I watched this movie, I smile a lot because some of the scene in the movie really happened to me before. I met a friend from the internet, we exchanged mails and somehow we got to meet with each other. Our thoughts are a little bit different from the others, but we were connected to each other. We often met in the cafe, and somehow I said "I like a quieter place" and that's how we tried to find a quiet place to talk (-__-"") Well, don't you think a quiet place is better when we are going to talk about many things?? Haha.

Ok, done with the confide. I personally think this is a good romance movie. For those who is longing to watch a romance movie, I recommend this.

I give this dorama 8 out of 10 points.

[Japanese Movie Review] Ansatsu Kyoushitsu / Assassination Classroom

Hello all. It's been a while since the last time I wrote a review. I've been so busy with my work.

Well, this time I'm gonna write a review about a Japanese movie I watched just recently.
It's Assassination classroom, a live action movie based on a manga written by Matsui Yusei. This movie was aired in 2015.

The story start from a mysterious creature which has an incredible power and speed, destroys 70% of the moon. He stated if no one kills him by March of the next year, he will destroy the Earth too.

The government is also forced to open a classroom where the creature will teach the students to kill him. 3E of Kunugigaoka Junior High School are the chosen one. Later, the students called him Koro Sensei (Teacher Koro).

The rules of the class is the student needs to kill Koro Sensei while studying, and Koro Sensei will not hurt the students. The government will give a ten billion reward for those who can kill him.

Karasuma Tadaomi (played by Shiina Kippei) is the government representative as the in-charge of the class 3E.

Shiota Nagisa (played by Yamada Ryousuke of Hey! Say! JUMP) is one of the student in the class. He seems like a nerd, but actually he is one of the talented one in the classroom. As always, Yamada Ryousuke is a really great actor I think.

Not only the students, but also the other teacher is also trying to kill Koro Sensei. One of them is Irina Jelavić (played by Kang Ji Young, ex-KARA member), an English teacher which is actually a sniper.

Many things happen around the classroom, which makes the movie is interesting with so many action and funny scene.

This movie is a science fiction movie, so, many CG is added in this movie. For those who likes science fiction action movie, this movie is quite entertaining. The movie is to be continued in the 2nd movie, Assasination Classroom: Graduation which is aired in 2016.

I give this movie 7out of 10 points.
